Gestione SILO is located in a 1200 square meter factory in Badia a Settimo, in Scandicci in the province of Florence. Today, the company is the only private agency in Italy that is able to design, build, process and assemble precision optical systems. This is why we operate as a consolidated partner for companies and international operators in various sectors: the aerospace and military industry, manufacturers of scientific and laboratory instruments, research, university institutes, astronomical observatories, and the manufacturing and telecommunications industries.

Since 1950 Gestione SILO has developed distinctive skills in the knowledge of materials and technologies for the production of optics and optical devices, such as lenses, prisms, mirrors, flat optics, optical filters and opto-mechanical systems, ensuring maximum professionalism even for bonding optics and coatings. The range of capabilities is wide enough to allow customers to request jobs that are not currently in production, subject to the feasibility of the project.

Our team of experts is available to assist you even with small batches with flexibility and ability to face new problems to develop customized solutions, after verification of the feasibility of products and processes currently not offered.
